DOHA: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) completed 363,857 transactions and services to the public at the level of its subsidiaries during the period from January 1 to the end of August this year, said a press release yesterday.
The Ministry said that these transactions included 274,815 transactions in the municipal sector, which includes eight municipalities; 52,206 transactions in the agriculture and fish sector; 9,854 transactions in the environment sector; 14,816 in public services and 1,107 in urban planning sector, in addition to 11,059 transactions in building permits complex.
These transactions were executed through several channels, such as the Ministry's website, smart phone apps, phone calls and service centres.
