(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali has separately met with Minister of Youth and Sports of Serbia Vanja Udovicic, Minister of Youth and Sports of Zambia Moses Mawere, and Chairman of the Unesco Committee on Traditional Sports and Games Khalil Ahmed Khan.
The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 4th Collective Consultation Meeting on Traditional Games and Sports (TSG), which opened in the Turkish city of Istanbul on August 12.
The minister's meetings dealt with the co-operation between Qatar's Ministry of Culture and Sports with its counterparts in Serbia and Zambia, focusing on youth and sports.
Meanwhile, the meeting with the Chairman of the Unesco Committee on Traditional Sports and Games dealt with studying the membership of Qatar to the Council. World Ethnosports Confederation (WEC) Chairman Bilal Erdogan gave the Minister of Culture and Sports a certificate to thank him for his keenness on participating in the festival and enriching its activities. - QNA
