Turkey detains 5 foreign in connection to terrorism


(MENAFN) A security source declared that Turkish police have detained five Iraqi nationals in northern Turkey over suspected connection to the terrorist group Daesh.

Police have launched anti-terror missions at many locations in Ilkyardim district of Turkey"s Black Sea province of Samsun, according to the source.

Over 300 people have died in Daesh-claimed attacks in Turkey till now, where the terror group has aimed at civilians in suicide explosives, rocket and gun attacks.

Turkish security forces have been taking part in a long termed campaign to thwart Daesh attacks.
