(MENAFN) South Korean Vice Foreign Minister Cho Hyun will meet with top trade negotiators from five central American countries this week when they visit Seoul to sign a free trade agreement.

According to the foreign ministry, Cho and chief trade officials from the member states of the Central American Integration System (SICA), Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras and Panama, will discuss trade and business cooperation and the North Korean nuclear problem during the meeting on Tuesday.

The country plans to sign a free trade agreement on Wednesday with the SICA, which calls for the removal of import tariffs on more than 95 percent of products.
