Prominent retired Orthopedic Surgeon, W. Grant Braly, MD, will be Featured in The Leading Physicians of the World

The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome W. Grant Braly, MD, to their organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Braly is a retired Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon who was a partner in Fondren Orthopedic Group, a private practice multi-subspecialist group in Houston, Texas, for 31 years. He served as orthopedic residency clinical faculty for Baylor College of Medicine, the University of Texas-Houston McGovern School of Medicine, and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He was also clinical faculty for the Foot and Ankle Fellowship affiliated with the University of Texas-Houston McGovern School of Medicine.

Dr. Braly's career in medicine began in 1979, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Following the completion of medical school, he completed an internship (PGY-1) at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colorado followed by his orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Pursuing subspecialty training, Dr. Braly completed the Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Braly was a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery from 1987 until 2017, having recertified twice. He is a retired/emeritus member of many professional organizations including the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Orthopaedic Association. He dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality care for his patients. Outside of his practice days and currently in his retirement, Dr. Braly enjoys spending time with his family and friends, historical reading, travel, and, as is typical for Texans, ranching.
