(MENAFN)Police sources reported that three Chinese students were injured after a man driving a vehicle knocked them off near the French city of Toulouse on Friday, leaving one of them in a grave condition.
One source said, asking to stay anonymous, that the driver, who was arrested afterwards in the city's Blagnac suburb, acted on his own without any help, however; was not on a list of known extremists.
France has confronted so many vehicle attacks by extremists inspired by Daesh group, but still, there was no immediate confirmation of the driver's identity or motive.
The police have known the man for having previous non-terror crimes and officers were checking reports he suffered from major psychological problems.
