During a series of meetings, Al Junaibi praised the strength of relations between the UAE and Egypt and their development in all aspects and levels, expressing his gratitude for the brotherly position of Egypt and stressing that the UAE's attitudes toward Egypt stem from the fraternal convictions of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The two sides also reviewed the strategic vision for future development of, and investment in, the Red Sea Governorate, as well as other investment opportunities.

On the sidelines of the visit, Maj. Gen. Abdullah thanked the UAE and its ambassador for its financial investment in the city of Hurghada, announcing the launch of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan mosque project.

The Governor stressed the importance of this project, which will serve a large number of people in the region.

At the end of his visit, Al Junaibi visited the project for housing units, provided by a grant from the UAE to the north of Hurghada, where he was briefed on the final state of the project before the start of the allocation of units to eligible citizens from the province.
