Qatar's foreign policy success highlighted


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Dr Khalid bin Mubarak Al-Shafi Acting Editor-in-Chief The Peninsula with Dr Malath Alagha from International Relations Section and officers at the military college.

DOHA: Dr Khalid bin Mubarak Al-Shafi Acting Editor-in-Chief of The Peninsula on Thursday delivered a lecture at Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College under the theme ‘Building an intellectual image as one of Qatar’s foreign policy strategies’.

Dr Al-Shafi talked about Qatar’s international relations its stances on some important issues and initiatives at international forums.

He highlighted several foreign policy successes for Qatar its vision for many international issues and its constant support for peoples’ freedom and human rights. The lecture also drew attention to humanitarian aid including medical education and basic necessities such as food provided by Qatar to a number of countries.

Professors of International Relations at the college appreciated the lecture and said it contributes to the curriculum by boldly dealing with important issues related to Qatar’s foreign policy relations. Twenty-four officers from the 13th batch of the International Relations Section at the college attended the lecture.
