The crop of dates is not only of the important agricultural crops locally but also one of the food commodities which contribute significantly to agricultural export development and provides many jobs in the production marketing manufacturing and exporting areas.
Najran markets nowadays receive the early production of 670 835 different palm dates witnessing a growing demand from consumers to buy dates during this period while Najran region is distinguished by its agricultural production.
In a tour of Najran dates market an editor of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) have met with a group of dates vendors farmers and some customers of the market inside and outside the region.
