Slime products may contain higher levels of chemical

(MENAFN) Probe directed by the consumer group into 11 most known slime products discovered eight contained higher than suggested levels of a chemical called boron.

One product consisted of over four times the EU safety limit, according to researches.

It has advised parents to be cautious when to create "homemade slime", as some materials deployed to create the slim, such as some contact lens solutions, consist of borax, which is derived from boron.

Slime was one of the most popular trends in 2017, with millions of people posting photos on Instagram and watching DIY slime-making videos on YouTube.
