UAE, Afghanistan buy oil products from Turkmenistan

Last week, 27 deals were registered at the auction of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, says the message of the organization.

Entrepreneurs from the UAE and other countries purchased gasoline and polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refinery (OR).

Gasoline produced at the Seida refinery, as well as technical sulfur (produced by the state concern Turkmengaz), became the subject of transactions of businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan. In addition, cotton yarn and Portland cement were sold. Buyers were Russia, UAE, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine. The total amount of transactions exceeded $41.036 million.

Enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership, citizens of Turkmenistan and other states can become participants of the exchange trading by acquiring a brokerage place or by concluding a service contract with the brokers of the exchange. The main export items are petroleum products, cotton fiber, and products of the domestic textile industry, and chemical industry.
