Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Nasirjan Yusupov, on the occasion of Yusupov's handing over his credentials, BELTA reported, referring to the Belarusian Foreign ministry.
Vladimir Makei noted that Belarus sincerely welcomed the decision of the Uzbek party to open the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Minsk.
The parties agreed that this step will contribute to the development of the entire complex of Belarusian-Uzbek relations, including in such areas of mutual interest as industry and industrial cooperation, investment cooperation, agriculture and education.
