Saudi Exports Concludes Participation in Iraq International Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition

Basra, Rabi'I 22, 1439, Dec 10, 2017, SPA -- The Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) concluded the Kingdom's participation as a guest of honor at Iraq International Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition in Basra during the period 5-7, December, 2017.
This event represents an economic gate and a platform for economic communication between the two countries and serves the producers and exporters from the two sides.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, 18 memoranda of understanding in the fields of energy were signed between the Kingdom and Iraq in presence of Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Export Development Authority Eng. Khaled bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and his Iraqi counterpart Eng. Jaber Al-Luaibi.
For his part, Eng. Al-Falih has lauded the serious efforts exerted by the Iraqi government promoting investment in Iraq's country in order to achieve comprehensive development. He also highlighted strategic advantages enjoyed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iraq, including human resources, geographical location, natural, mineral and industrial resources.
