(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Tourism Committee of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) organised the 'Tourism Companies Dialogue Roundtable' on Monday.
The meeting aimed at finding a mechanism of coordination and cooperation between large, small and medium-sized companies. The development of plans and solutions to help boost the tourism sector and consider how to exploit human cadres of graduates of the tourism sector were also discussed.
Said bin Saleh al Kiyumi, chairman of the Board of Directors of OCCI explained that the public and private sectors must intensify efforts to develop the tourism sector as a promising sector. He pointed out that the private sector focuses on this aspect in its investments and the government to overcome consequences and difficulties that may face businessmen in investing in the sector.
