Vietnam's GDP expected to grow 5.93% in 9 months

(MENAFN) The General Statistics Office (GSO) said that Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to grow by 5.93% in the first nine months of 2016.

In details, the country's GDP had grown 5.48% in Q1, while it jumped 5.78% in Q2, and 6.4% in Q3.

Moreover, GSO head, Nguyen Bich Lam, said: "However, the GDP expansion in the nine-month period remains lower than that of 6.53 percent in the same period last year. This was attributed to continuous decline in the industry and mining while growth of agriculture stays lower than that of the same period last year."
