(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The State of Kuwait's non-resident ambassador to Nicaragua, Samih Johar Hayat, has delivered a message from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega.
His Highness the Amir, in the message, welcomed President Ortega, expected to visit Kuwait soon, on a mission aimed at bolstering bilateral ties.
The embassy statement said the ambassador discussed, during the meeting with the president at the governing palace in the capital, Managua, means of boosting the distinctive bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
President Ortega expressed readiness to respond to the Amir's invitation to visit Kuwait during this year. He also expressed condolences to His Highness the Amir on the victims who lost their lives in the cowardly terrorist bombing that targeted Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Kuwait City a week ago.
