British industrial output up 0.5 percent in Q4
(MENAFN) Industrial output in Britain went up 0.5 percent in the fourth quarter of 2013 versus the quarter before it, Xinhua reported
Figures by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that the slight increase indicates a slowdown in production in the country
The overall industrial production in December surged 1.8 percent from the corresponding month a year ago, while manufacturing increased 1.5 percent in the month
The ONS said: "Three out of the four of the main industrial groupings experienced growth in output, with the construction industry contracting.
