Ahmedabad: Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has once again stirred up social media, this time taking a friendly dig at Chennai Super Kings fans after a thumping victory. After the match, Gill shared a post on Instagram that has become a hot topic among fans. This is the latest in his series of fun social media posts after defeating opponents this IPL season.

He shared a picture of himself, Mohammed Siraj, and Jos Buttler all telling the crowd to be quiet, with a caption that simply said, "Thank you for the second time. Blue light after the yellow light." The message was loud and clear. Even though the match was at Gujarat's home ground, the gallery was a sea of yellow, with the crowd overwhelmingly supporting Chennai.

Chasing a massive target of 232 runs set by Gujarat at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Chennai's innings got off to a rocky start. However, Shivam Dube tried to bring his team back into the game with some big hitting, scoring 21 runs off 13 balls. Every six from Dube's bat was met with huge cheers from the crowd. But his explosive innings, which included four fours and four sixes, was cut short by none other than Shubman Gill himself. Gill took a spectacular diving catch to send him back to the pavilion.

An pumped-up Gill immediately turned to the gallery, put a finger to his lips, and gestured for the pro-CSK crowd to be quiet. His Instagram post was a direct follow-up to that on-field moment. Gill was on fire with the bat as well. Opening the innings, he smashed a brilliant 64 runs off 37 balls, including 7 fours and 3 sixes, laying the foundation for Gujarat's huge total.

Chasing Gujarat's mammoth 230, Chennai lost opener Sanju Samson on the very first ball to Mohammed Siraj, which set the tone for their collapse. In the end, Chennai were all out for 140 runs in 13.4 overs, slumping to their eighth defeat of the season.
