Kuwait Stocks End Higher As General Index Rises 65.25 Points
Kuwait: Kuwait's stock market closed higher on Thursday, with the General Index gaining 65.25 points, or 0.75 percent, to settle at 8,712.50 points.a
A total of 450.3 million shares were traded through 24,793 cash transactions, with a total value of KWD 112.5 million (approximately USD 344.2 million).
The Main Market Index rose by 118.64 points, or 1.40 percent, to close at 8,599.62 points. Trading on the index totaled 287.5 million shares through 13,631 transactions, valued at KWD 50.2 million (approximately USD 153.6 million).
The Premier Market Index advanced 75.29 points, or 0.63 percent, to 9,188.08 points, with 162.8 million shares traded through 11,162 transactions worth KWD 62.2 million (approximately USD 190.9 million).

Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index gained 113.54 points, or 1.20 percent, to close at 9,542.99 points. Trading volume reached 257.9 million shares through 11,383 transactions, with a total value of KWD 44.4 million (approximately USD 135.8 million).
