Doha International Book Fair Highlights UN Role, Future Challenges

Doha: The cultural salon at the 35th Doha International Book Fair hosted President of the 66th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and former High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations H E Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Nasser to talk about his last book“A Year at the Helm of the United Nations General Assembly: A Vision for our Century.”
In his remarks Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Nasser stated that during his participation in the Cultural Salon, he addressed his experience during his presidency of the UNGA, and the international and regional challenges and transformations that accompanied it. He indicated that the book deals with the four pillars that he worked on during that period.
