Amman, May 21 (Petra) -- Pleasant and relatively mild weather conditions are prevailing across most regions on Thursday, with more stable and sunnier conditions expected through the weekend, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Temperatures to drop slightly on Thursday, bringing mild conditions to most parts of the country, while moderate weather continues in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Low clouds are expected intermittently, with a slight chance of light morning showers in northern regions. Westerly winds are forecast to blow at moderate speeds, becoming active at times and occasionally raising dust, particularly in Badia areas.

The Meteorological Department warned of reduced horizontal visibility during the early morning hours due to fog formation over high mountainous areas. It also cautioned against intermittent dust-related visibility reductions in desert regions.

More stable conditions are forecast for Saturday and Sunday, with mostly sunny and moderate weather prevailing across most regions, while relatively hot conditions continue in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds are expected to remain moderate and occasionally active.
