Over 31,000 Land Plots Distributed To Returnee Families So Far


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) says more than 31,000 land plots have so far been distributed to returning refugee families in a number of provinces.

Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), wrote on his X account on Tuesday that the committee responsible for the permanent settlement of refugees and land distribution allocated plots to 308 families in Nangarhar, 55 families in Uruzgan, 253 families in Farah, 180 families in Kunduz, and 300 returnee families in Helmand.

Fitrat said that, in total, 1,096 returnee families received land plots in a single day.

According to the deputy spokesman, the total number of distributed land plots has now reached 31,025, and the process is continuing.
