Karoline Thomsen

Karoline Thomsen is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of New South Wales – Canberra. Her main research interests are international humanitarian law, asymmetric conflicts, terrorism and social media.
Karoline holds a MA in International Relations as well as an MA in International Law from the University of Queensland and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Copenhagen. Before joining UNSW, Karoline has worked as a research assistant at Griffith University and the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect and taught international relations at the University of Queensland School of Political Science and International Studies.
