Sri Lanka Hosts Ninth International Boat And Marine Show 2026
The conference was organised by Sri Lanka Tourism in collaboration with the Chamber of Marine Industries Sri Lanka, while the Boat Show was held in cooperation with the Chamber and managed by CDC Events Ltd. The event was supported by the Ministries of Industry and Entrepreneurship, Foreign Affairs, Employment and Tourism, along with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB).
This multi-stakeholder collaboration reflects Sri Lanka's strategic vision to emerge as a regional centre for boating, yachting, and marine tourism, while strengthening its appeal as a premier island destination. Sri Lanka Tourism said the event supports efforts to promote underwater attractions internationally and encourage sustainable marine tourism practices that preserve ocean heritage.
Recognised by the Government as a priority platform for export promotion, investment attraction, and tourism development, the Boat and Marine Show provided exhibitors with enhanced credibility and exposure, while assuring buyers of a stable and investor-friendly environment.
Since its launch in 2008, the event has evolved into South Asia's foremost marine showcase, following successful editions held in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2023. The 2026 edition featured boats, yachts, shipbuilders, marine engines, navigation systems, diving and water sports operators, eco-tourism ventures, yacht brokers, marinas, charter services, and whale and dolphin watching operators.
Delegations from India, Singapore, Maldives, South Korea, Belgium, Germany, Holland, the UK, Seychelles, and the Middle East attended, offering exhibitors direct access to international buyers, investors, and key decision-makers across the global marine and tourism sectors.
