Gazan Child Falls Victim To Merciless Winter
Gaza: A Palestinian infant died Friday from severe cold in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that the six-month-old infant passed away inside the family's tent due to freezing temperatures in Mawasi area of Khan Younis, raising the number of child deaths in Gaza from the harsh winter to 11, amid scarce aid and lack of heating.
Sources highlighted that these deaths reflect the severe humanitarian conditions in the Strip, particularly for children and displaced families living in fragile tents unprepared for the cold.
