(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, August 20 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti volleyball team qualified for the quarterfinals of the 17th Arab U18 Volleyball Championship, currently taking place in Jordan, despite 3-2 loss to Iraq on Wednesday.
The results of game came 21-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-15, and 15-9, with Iraq winning three sets to two.
The Kuwaiti team showcased strong individual and team skills, resulting in a highly competitive match between the two teams.
The Kuwaiti junior volleyball team is set to face its Lebanese counterpart next Friday in the quarterfinals of the championship.
The 17th Arab U18 Volleyball Championship continues until August 26. (end)
