Ukrainian Air Defenses Intercept 200 Russian Attack Drones, 24 Missiles Overnight
These included 426 Shahed-type attack drones and decoy UAVs launched from Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), five Kinzhal Kh-47M2 ballistic missiles launched from the Tambov region, four Kalibr cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea, one Iskander-K cruise missile launched from Millerovo, and 14 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from the Saratov region.
The aerial assault was repelled by Ukrainian aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare (EW) and UAV units, and mobile fire teams of the Defense Forces.
As of 09:30 on Monday, July 21, preliminary data indicates that 224 drones and missiles were intercepted or neutralized, including 200 Shahed attack drones. The majority of missiles were destroyed by air defense firepower, while others were suppressed by EW or lost from radar tracking.

Confirmed impacts from 23 Shahed drones occurred at three locations, while debris from downed UAVs fell in twelve other locations.
The Ukrainian Air Force warned that the Russian aerial attack was ongoing, with a new wave of drones entering from the north.
Russia launched a large-scale combined drone and missile attack from multiple directions, prompting air raid alerts across Kyiv and all regions of Ukraine.
