Qatar Reiterates Condemnation Of Israeli Aggression Against Iran
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met Saturday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Abbas Araqchi. The meeting was held on the margin of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), currently taking place in Istanbul, Turkey.
Discussion during the meeting focused on the latest developments in the region, particularly the continued Israeli aggression against the territory of the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran.
In this context, HE Sheikh Mohammed reiterated the State of Qatar's strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli aggression against Iranian territory, considering it a flagrant violation of Iran's sovereignty and security, and a clear breach of the rules and principles of international law.
HE Sheikh Mohammed stressed the need for concerted regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions and resolve disputes through diplomatic means, affirming that the State of Qatar is making strenuous efforts with its partners to return to the path of dialogue to address outstanding issues and consolidate security and peace in the region and the world.
