JNC Condemns Israeli Attack Close To Jordanian Field Hospital In Gaza

Amman, June 11 (Petra) - Jordan Nursing Council (JNC) condemned the Israeli shelling in the adjacent area of the Jordanian field hospital in the southern Gaza Strip.
The council also cried injury of a Jordanian nurse in the attack, while performing his humanitarian duty in providing healthcare to Gazans, amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in the coastal enclave.
In a statement to "Petra" Wednesday, JNC Secretary-General, Dr. Hani Nawafleh, noted this painful incident highlights sacrifices made by the Jordanian medical staff and reflects the Kingdom's humanitarian image under His Majesty King Abdullah II's leadership.
Jordan, he noted, has never "hesitated to support its Palestinian brethren and provide all possible support and healthcare to the strip, which is witnessing a humanitarian disaster, as medical and relief personnel is continuing to arrive to Gaza."
Blasting these attacks represent as a blatant violation of all human values, he hailed dedication of the medical services and Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) personnel, who continue to perform their noble duties despite all challenges and dangers.
Additionally, he expressed the council's solidarity with the injured colleague, wishing him a speedy recovery and affirming that Jordanian nursing staff will remain committed to serving the nation and humanity in all fields.
