Russia’s Upper House Chairwoman Joins Talks in Azerbaijan’s Capital

A statement from the Federation Council, shared on Telegram, confirmed the arrival of the delegation, led by its speaker, Valentina Matviyenko, to the South Caucasus country. The statement mentioned that Matviyenko is scheduled to engage in talks with Azerbaijan’s government officials.
Additionally, the statement highlighted that Matviyenko would participate in a talk of the interparliamentary commission, aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Russian and Azerbaijani parliaments.
