To foster collaboration, Jordan has formed partnerships with the private sector and approved memorandums of understanding with international entities. The country also hosted the second Jordan Cybersecurity Summit and launched awareness initiatives and capacity-building programs in cooperation with academic institutions.
As part of cybersecurity governance efforts, Jordan introduced the Cybersecurity Excellence Award to promote compliance with security regulations and issued the 2024 licensing system for cybersecurity service providers. The National Training Plan and National Cybersecurity Framework have been developed, targeting 100 government institutions by 2025.
Further initiatives include drafting the Cybersecurity Strategy for the energy sector, establishing cybersecurity protection standards for critical infrastructure, and holding consultative meetings with sector operators.
