Occupied Jerusalem: Colonists stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, protected by the Israeli Occupation forces.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that dozens of colonists entered Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups and carried out provocative tours within its courtyards, performing Talmudic rituals under the protection of the occupation forces.
The report added that the occupation Police turned the Old City of Jerusalem into a military barracks, deploying hundreds of officers at close distances, particularly near the gates of Al-Aqsa.
They heightened their military measures at the gates of the Old City and the mosque, imposing restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers.
Colonists escalated their incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, on October 7, 2023. Meanwhile, the occupation forces have intensified their measures at the mosque's gates and the entrances to the Old City.
