Toronto Man Charged With Sexual Assault After Alleged Deception

A 39-year-old Toronto resident has been arrested and charged with sexual assault after allegedly deceiving two women by pretending to be visually impaired and lost.
According to Toronto Police, on January 27, 2025, the man approached the women in the Pape Avenue and Gamble Avenue area, claiming he needed assistance to find his way home. The women agreed to help, but upon arriving at his residence, one of them was allegedly sexually assaulted.
The suspect, identified as Enayatullah Amiri, was arrested and charged with sexual assault. He appeared in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on January 28, 2025.
Authorities have released a photograph of Mr. Amiri, expressing concern that there may be additional victims. They are urging anyone with information to contact the police.
As of now, there is no publicly available information regarding Mr. Amiri's nationality or refugee status.
