Gunfire In Upper Kurram Leaves Two Injured, Six More Hurt In Rescue Vehicle Crash

ٓPARACHINAR: Two civilians were injured in Upper Kurram's Boshehra area after being fired upon from an unknown direction , while six others sustained injuries when the vehicle transporting the wounded collided with another car.
According to the Police report filed by the injured Abbas Ali and Gul Ali , they were sitting outside in the sun when they were suddenly targeted by gunfire . Following the incident, a clash allegedly erupted between local tribes .
As Abbas Ali and Gul Ali were being rushed to the hospital, their vehicle collided with another car, injuring six more people .

Sources confirmed that all injured individuals were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital , where they received medical care. One woman is reported to be in critical condition .
The Kurram police stated that an investigation is underway, and those responsible will be brought to justice.
Meanwhile, tribal elder Haji Abid condemned the repeated violations of the peace agreement , urging the government to take action against the 14 reported breaches and calling on the public to support efforts for peace.
It is worth noting that a peace agreement was reached on January 1 , under which fortifications and bunkers were to be demolished , heavy weapons were to be surrendered to the government , and compensation was to be provided to affected parties . The Peshawar-Parachinar Highway was also set to be reopened once complete peace was restored .
