For the first time, Netanyahu stands before the court


(MENAFN) Israeli Primer Benjamin Netanyahu stood for the first time in his long-lasting corruption before the court, refusing what he outlined as “absurd” claims against him.

On Tuesday, Netanyahu appeared at a crowded courtroom in Tel Aviv, the embattled Israeli chief stated the claims worded against him were an “an ocean of absurdity”.

Israel’s longest-serving primer encountering charges of bribery, fraud and violation of public trust in three different cases. He has continually denied any crime.

He stood before the court for about four hours and will continue witnessing on Wednesday. His military secretary for two times gave him written messages, the first time demanding a break and underlining his having to do double responsibility as primer.

He criticized the Israeli news agencies for what he referred to it as leftist position and accused reporters of having chased him for years as a result of his policies that did not support the Palestinian state.
