Iran’s ICCIMA pursues enhancing of international collaboration


(MENAFN) During the inaugural Europe and Asia Regional Summit of the World Chambers Federation in Turkey, the leadership and board members of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) actively sought avenues to enhance international collaboration. The two-day summit commenced in Istanbul on Tuesday, with a central focus on addressing environmental challenges, as reported by the ICCIMA portal.

The event has attracted approximately 800 representatives from chambers of commerce worldwide and is sponsored by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the World Chambers Federation (WCF). Key figures from the Iranian delegation include Samad Hassanzadeh, the head of ICCIMA, alongside board members Hossein Pirmoazzen and Keyvan Kashefi, as well as Mohammad Khazaei, the director of ICC Iran, who collectively represent the Islamic Republic at the summit.

Throughout the summit, the Iranian delegation engaged in discussions with the president and the secretary general of the ICC, as well as with various counterparts from other countries’ chambers of commerce. These dialogues aimed to foster cooperation and exchange insights on pressing issues.

Key topics on the agenda for this edition of the summit include strategies for expanding international cooperation, identifying new financial mechanisms, and laying the groundwork for enhancing private sector collaboration. The discussions underscore the commitment of ICCIMA to actively participate in global economic dialogues and tackle shared challenges in the business community.
