LEAD’s 2024 Masterclass Brings Diverse Dance Forms to India’s Schools

Launched in collaboration with SIFF Young Artiste, LEAD Group’s 2024 Masterclass will introduce students to three iconic dance forms that celebrate India’s cultural heritage: the energetic Bhangra, the graceful Kathak and the dynamic Freestyle. LEAD’s Masterclass provides unique experiences, exposure, and learning opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable to students in India’s small towns.

LEAD’s Masterclasses will be conducted by notable dance maestros: Anushka Chandak, esteemed holder of the "Nritya Alankaar" title, embodying the timeless elegance of Kathak; Deepak Devrani, “Indian Hiphop champion”, infusing modern energy into bhangra music and Sneha Kapoor, "The Indian Salsa Princess," bridging Eastern and Western dance traditions.
Through these masterclasses, students across LEAD-powered schools will embark on a transformative journey, aligning with the National Education Policy's vision of holistic education.By integrating dance into the curriculum, students will develop critical 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and creativity. This approach not only fosters new avenues of self-expression but also helps students realize their true potential in a well-rounded, engaging, and enriching educational experience.

LEAD’s Masterclass series ensures that students learn critical life skills from this exposure.
Previous Masterclass sessions have been led by celebrities such as badminton ace Saina Nehwal, tennis champion Sania Mirza, legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, actor-director R Madhavan, tennis legend Leander paes and popular author & speaker Chetan Bhagat.
