Friends Of The Environment Center Holds Summer Programs To Develop Environmental Skills Among Youth

Doha, Qatar: As part of the activities of the fourth week of the summer activity "I Explore", the Friends of the Environment Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, organized a number of activities that aimed to develop the skills and knowledge of young men and women joining the summer activity.

The activities included holding a workshop "Plant and Learn", which was organized in cooperation with the Arab Sports Club, on the methods and techniques of home agriculture, and also the importance of plants for humans, as well as the environment.

The center also organized a workshop on making scented candles using some simple raw materials.

The activities also included a workshop on the importance of agriculture in cooperation with Al Khor Sports Club, the benefits of agriculture and its positive impact on the environment and society, being one of the main ways to address the effects of climate change.
