IED Blast In Tirah Valley Injures Three Police Officials During Routine Patrol


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) An explosion rocked Tirah Valley, a remote region in the Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, injuring three Police officials, including the post in-charge.

Sources reported that the incident occurred in the Sairey Kandao area of Tirah when a police vehicle on routine patrol hit an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in the area.

The blast injured Khushal Amin, the in-charge of the check post, and two other officers. The wounded were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

In response to the explosion, a heavy police force, led by the Station House Officer (SHO), arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. A comprehensive search operation is currently underway in the area.
