Paghman Township Declared State Property: Moj

(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has declared the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan township in the Paghman district of Kabul a state property.

The Special Court for trying land-grab cases has determined the land for the township, spread over an area of 278 acres, is owned by the state, the MoJ wrote on its X handle.

It said the Land Grab Prevention Commission (LGPC) had submitted the township case to the Special Court after inspecting the site.

The ministry added the group had confirmed the township as a state property after a comprehensive investigation.

The commission has proven the ownership documents for the township are“fake.”

The process of taking back government lands was proceeding rapidly across the country, the ministry explained.

LGPC is responsible for reclaiming state lands from usurpers.

Earlier, MoJ had reclaimed nearly 600 acres of state land from grabbers in Pagrami district.

The ministry said one million acres of state land had been wrested back from usurpers, including powerful individuals, across the country.
