Doha, Qatar: A popular Filipino food vlogger, followed by over 400,000 fans on Facebook, has tragically passed away on July 14 at the age of 38.

Manoy Apatan, known online as Dongz Apatan, suffered a stroke after consuming a large amount of fried chicken and rice.

Apatan was known for his videos featuring him consuming large quantities of fried foods, beef, seafood, rice and sweets.

He was rushed to the hospital following a severe stroke the day after his last recorded meal, which included a significant amount of fried chicken accompanied by rice and a chili soy sauce dip.

Medical professionals determined that a blood clot in his brain, likely exacerbated by high blood pressure and ruptured blood vessels, led to a hemorrhagic stroke, ultimately causing his death.

Apatan's family has reached out to his social media followers, seeking financial assistance to support the education and foodstuff for the deceased food vlogger's three children.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of unbalanced diets and excessive consumption of unhealthy foods, highlighting the importance of moderation and nutritional care in our eating habits.

It highlights the risks associated with consuming oily, high-sodium, and high-cholesterol foods.

Doctors around the world recommend following a balanced diet rich in proteins, clean carbohydrates, and healthy fats while limiting intake of oily, high-sodium, and high-cholesterol foods to ensure better physical health.
