(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) PARIS, June 28 (KUNA) -- Authorities have adorned the "Arc de Triomphe" with a giant agitos of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, due in two months time.
The sports event organizing committee said in a press release on Saturday that it was the first time that the symbol of the Paralympic Movement was installed on the French capital's landmark ahead of the games.
It has indicated that the logo is also decorating Paris' top icon, the Eiffel tower, visited along with the historic arc by 1.7 million people per year.
Tony Estanguet, the commission chair, said on August 28, the Champs Elysees would transform into the Paralympics street with a grand inauguration ceremony at the "Place de la Concorde."
