Slovenia To Provide Another EUR 5M In Humanitarian Aid To Ukraine - President


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Slovenian government has approved an additional 5 million euros for Ukraine's humanitarian needs and will continue to provide military aid to the country.

Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar said this at a joint press conference with her Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on Friday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We brought another piece of good news to Kyiv - the Slovenian government has approved an additional 5 million euros in aid for humanitarian purposes," Pirc Musar said.

She said that Slovenia wants to be active in this area and recalled that her country had provided $80,000 to the rehabilitation center for Ukrainian soldiers who lost their limbs.

"Slovenia is a small country, and we cannot provide as much military aid as big countries can. But still, we have given a lot and will give more," she said.

Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar arrived in Ukraine on Friday, June 28.
