UP SHOCKER! Woman Beats Ex-Boyfriend To Death With Baseball Bat For Opposing Affair With Another Man

(MENAFN- AsiaNet News) In a shocking incident, a 38-year-old woman, Kavita Chahar, has been arrested for the murder of her ex-boyfriend, Brajveer Singh, 40, in Agra. The brutal crime occurred after Brajveer allegedly disapproved of Kavita's affair with another man. Brajveer's body, showing severe head injuries, was found in the Malpura area on Saturday.

Kavita, a resident of SR City Colony in Agra, reportedly lured Brajveer to meet her and, with the help of her new boyfriend and his friends, killed him. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Sonam Kumar confirmed the arrests of Kavita and her four accomplices, all of whom have been jailed.

Kavita, who is married, had been in a live-in relationship with Brajveer since 2007. She fell in love with him while living near her in-laws' home. Later, she moved to Agra and started living with Surendra Chahar, a relationship that enraged Brajveer. In 2019, Brajveer set fire to Surendra's clothing store, resulting in his imprisonment based on Kavita's testimony.

After his release from jail, Brajveer allegedly issued threats to Kavita, warning her against continuing her relationship with Surendra. Feeling harassed by his threats, Kavita devised a plan to murder him.

On June 15, she called Brajveer to meet her. Upon his arrival, an argument ensued, and Kavita, along with Surendra and his friends Atul, Rohit, and Sonu, attacked Brajveer. They beat him with a baseball bat and smashed a beer bottle on his head. After killing him, they dumped his body near the Rohta canal.

Brajveer's family, who had disowned him due to his relationship with Kavita, refused to come to Agra to claim his body.

The police have registered a case against Kavita and her accomplices under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention). The investigation is ongoing as authorities seek to uncover more details about this gruesome crime.
