Four, Including Central Baghlan Police Chief, Die In Traffic Accident


(MENAFN- Khaama Press) Local officials in Baghlan province report that Akhtar Mohammad Baryaly, the Police chief of the“Central Baghlan” district, along with three of his guards, have died in a traffic accident in this province.

Shir Ahmad Burhani, the spokesperson for the police command of the Taliban in Baghlan, stated in a press release that this incident occurred on Saturday, June 15, in the“Pulchak Ghulam Sadiq” area of Central Baghlan district.

The press release mentioned that the vehicle carrying Akhtar Mohammad Baryaly, the police chief in Central Baghlan district, and his companions veered off the road and overturned while traveling from the old city towards his home.

The cause of the accident is not yet clear.

Previously, several officials of the Taliban government have lost their lives in similar traffic accidents.

It is noted that driver negligence, high speed, road damage, and non-compliance with traffic laws are among the main causes of traffic accidents in the country.
