Ukraine Signs 110 International Agreements At Recovery Conference


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) At the Ukraine Recovery conference in Berlin, Ukraine signed 110 international agreements, contracts, and memorandums.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Economy Ministry, according to Ukrinform.

"We are concluding the conference with agreements, memorandums, and contracts in each of the areas[...] Judging by the number and scale of business deals signed during the conference, we see that our partners are ready to invest in Ukrainian business and enter the Ukrainian market," said First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to the Ministry of Economy, 110 international agreements were signed during the conference and aid worth more than EUR 16 billion was announced.

In particular, the following agreements were signed and assistance announced:

  • Guarantee and grant agreements under the Ukraine Facility's investment component – EUR 1.4 billion;
  • Energy assistance package from the United States - $824 million;
  • Launch of the SME Resilience Alliance for Ukraine – EUR 7 billion commitment;
  • Skills Alliance program - over EUR 700 million;
  • Additional funding for humanitarian demining projects - $35 million;
  • 14 agreements between Ukrainian and German and international business partners - over EUR 560 million;
  • Risk insurance agreements - over $350 million.

The First Vice Prime Minister thanked the international partners for their systematic assistance and support of Ukraine.
