Norway To Contribute EUR 240M To Ukraine's Air Defense Measures

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Norwegian government will allocate EUR 240 million to Ukraine for the purchase of air defense equipment.

This was announced by the Norwegian Ministry of Defense on social media platform X , Ukrinform reports.

“Norway will contribute €240M to air defense measures for Ukraine. Today, Germany announced it would deliver another 100 Patriot air defence missiles to Ukraine in an initiative with Denmark, Netherlands and Norway. Norway will contribute €125M to this initiative,” the post reads.

As reported by Ukrinform, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that Germany plans to supply Kyiv with 100 more missiles for Patriot systems. According to him, 32 of them have recently arrived in Ukraine. The rest will be sent later, Pistorius said.

The United States has also decided to send another Patriot air defense system to Ukraine.
