Uzbekistan, Hungary Sign Number Of Bilateral Documents


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 7. Uzbekistan andHungary sign a number of bilateral documents, investmentagreements, and export contracts, Trend reports.

According to Uzbekistan's Ministry of Investments, Industry, andTrade, the documents were signed during the Uzbek-HungarianBusiness Forum held in Tashkent.

Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade inUzbekistan, and Peter Szijjarto the Minister of Foreign Affairs andTrade in Hungary, attended the forum.

The parties emphasized a firm commitment to strengtheninglong-term partnerships and comprehensive support from the businesscircles of the two countries.

At the forum, participants presented investment projects andorganized 137 B2B and G2B meetings, planning to develop new jointventure projects and conclude mutually beneficial tradeagreements.

At the same time, both countries are implementing a solidpackage of investment projects and trade contracts in banking andfinance, agriculture, transportation and logistics, machinebuilding, pharmaceuticals, water management, and other sectors.

Within the framework of the IX meeting of the Uzbek-HungarianIntergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, theUzbek-Hungarian Business Forum took place. More than 200representatives of the business community, heads of ministries andagencies, and experts attended the event to discuss currentcooperation issues and identify new promising areas for jointproject implementation and trade ties expansion.
