COP29 President Meets With UN Secretary General
(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. The delegation ledby COP29 president Mukhtar Babayev met with UN Secretary GeneralAntonio Guterres, COP29 wrote on its page on X, Trend reports.
"President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev and the COP29 team met withSecretary-General Antonio Guterres on Earth Day at the UN. We aredetermined to work together to bring the parties together, ensureall fulfil past promises, and enable action to keep 1.5 oC withinreach," the statement said.
