Miss Nepal Jane Dipika Garrett Makes History As First Plus-Size Model In Miss Universe

The 72nd edition of the international beauty pageant will feature two transgender women, two mothers and one plus-sized model aiming for the crown Nepal, Jane Dipika Garrett, is the first plus sized model to have entered the international competition. Garrett, 22, emerged as a crowd favourite during the preliminaries held on Wednesday, November 15 in El Salvador as she walked the runway, Garett's inclusion was immediately crowded
in controversy.

Meanwhile, Miss Guatemala Michelle Cohn and Miss Camila Avella will mark the first time that married women and mothers will be allowed to compete, too, for the first time got their Miss Universe contestant. In a pageant event held in Maldives, a twenty four year old Erica Robin won the title of Miss Universe Pakistan and is set to represent her nation for the Miss Universe competition in El Salvador Miss Universe finale will take place on November 18.
